Nature Camp at Tauxemont Preschool offers one-week camp sessions during the months of June and July, where your child can enjoy a traditional camp experience with nature hikes, camp songs, opening and closing ceremonies and more... all within Tauxemont Cooperative Preschools’ beautiful wooded setting! Camp is directed by staff members Barbara Bradley, Lisa Finn and Dawn Matthews. This camp is intended for children who are independent and can easily separate from parents or guardians
5 one-week morning camp sessions for children ages 3 1/2 (by June) through completion of 1st grade are offered Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 11:45 am. All camp themes include elements of art, literature, music and animals. This year will feature Backyard Alive, Under the Sea, Big D's Petting Zoo, Mad Science, and Kofi Dennis. Afternoon Camp is held during sessions 2 and 3, Monday through Friday from 12:45 pm to 3:30 pm. This camp is for children 4 ½ years old through completion of 2nd grade (rising 3rd graders).
