2026-2027 Open House
Tauxemont Cooperative Preschool will hold its annual Open House on Sunday, January 11 from 1-3pm. Come tour the school, check out the playground, meet the teachers, and learn all about our little school in the woods. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open to the general public on Monday, January 12. Please direct all questions to Ashley Zuberi, Membership Chair at membership@tauxemont.org.
Our Little School in the Woods
Tauxemont has been teaching children a love of learning since 1942. Our fully wooded environment provides plenty of enriching moments as they enjoy both their outdoor and indoor classrooms.

It's important to know that your child receives a quality education. Our structured, play-based curriculum is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Our Philosophy
The Tauxemont learning experience encourages parents to participate with their children during this major step away from home. The interaction between parent, child and teacher is something quite rare and special.
